TRACY RESTAURANT WEEK 2023 RESTAURANT & BAR APPLICATION
Information:
Tracy’s very first Restaurant Week 2023 is scheduled for Monday, January 16 – Sunday, January 22!
Are you a restaurant, brewery, winery, dessert establishment or bar that is looking to increase your business during a normally slower time of year? Then this is the event for you!
The Tracy Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the local culinary and
beverage industry by encouraging the community to eat and drink locally to
highlight all of the wonderful restaurants and bars that make up our great city! Our hope is that people will support the local restaurants and bars by visiting new ones they haven't tried before and/or revisiting old favorites during the 7 days of TRW.
With your participation, we can turn this week into a premier dining event!
During TRW, participating restaurants will individually decide what restaurant
week promotion they would like to offer.
Will it be a discount on a menu staple or the entire check?
A newly created item at a special, attractive price?
How about a prix-fixe menu option to give the diner a full meal?
Perhaps adding a special cocktail, wine or beer to the menu would spice up the week!
Perhaps team up with a locally produced business/ item to showcase (ie. A local olive oil or vegetable)
It really is up to the participating restaurant to decide how they want to participate
Our 7-day event will be promoted in local and regional media through extensive
social media campaigns, print, digital and traditional media. The Chamber will
provide TRW posters and postcard for you to distribute to guests and use in your business in advance of the event and during to help promote it. We are confident that TRW will benefit your establishment and are committed to your success.
PLEASE NOTE – We are ONLY accepting applications from locally owned and operated restaurants, cafes and bars based in Tracy CA. (No national chains).
Applying Restaurants Agree to:
- Restaurant is located with the City of Tracy
- · Restaurant is responsible for participation fee
- Chamber Members: $25 or a $25 gift card to your establishment used to promote
- Non-Chamber Members: $250 (includes 1 year free chamber membership a $300+ value)
- · Restaurant is independently owned. No franchises or chain restaurants allowed to participate.
- · Active participation in the promotion of Restaurant Week 2023 before the event and during is expected. (ie. In-house, website, social media, etc.)
- · Special restaurant deal that the restaurant commits to must be offered the entire duration of restaurant week.
- · Agree to provide net food sales revenue for Restaurant week (This information is strictly confidential and will be used strictly to determine the economic impact of restaurant week)
- Provide a primary contact to handle submitting requested information and materials and to work with the Chamber to ensure all posted information is accurate
Tracy Chamber of Commerce Agrees to:
- Produce a comprehensive Restaurant Week marketing campaign highlighting the participating restaurants, including:
- Each participating restaurant will be featured on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) one time in the week leading up to restaurant week.
- Restaurants that wish to donate gift cards will be given an additional social media post for each $25 gift card donated. Gift cards will be used for a raffle to entice diners to participate in TRW. Donate $100 in gift cards and we will do a 1-2 minute video at your establishment!
- Each restaurant will be included on the Restaurant Week website, Chamber email newsletter, press releases and more
- Provide restaurants with posters and postcards to advertise Restaurant Week
- Provide digital promotional toolkit for participating restaurant use
- If you agree to the above expectations, please fill out the application to be considered for participation in the 2023 Tracy Restaurant Week. (Please note: Participation is dependent on a completed application, submission of the participation fee and submission of restaurant marketing materials. The Chamber is not responsible for promotion if materials are not submitted by the individual restaurant by the indicated deadline. The Chamber will make reasonable effort to accommodate late submissions.)
